New Journal Proposal

BHARTI PUBLICATIONS is consistently striving to develop a strong peer-reviewed journal portfolio in all areas of the subject. We welcome recommendations for new journals that mirror or broaden the scope of our publication. If you would want to consider creating a new journal, please send a written proposal to bhartipublications@gmail.com and ijard2015@gmail.com with information on the points indicated below. We will review the idea, and if it is approved, we would be delighted to begin working with you on the new journal immediately. The Editor-in-Chief (EIC) will work on a voluntary (non-paying) basis.

Job Description of Editor-In-Chief (EIC)

The EIC serves as the Editorial Board’s chairperson. The EIC is in charge of the intellectual accuracy, quality, and delivery of the journal issues in general. The EIC is NOT generally in charge of the journal’s layout, printing, production, subscription, copyright, payment, price, budget, or funding. Those responsibilities are carried out by the Production Editor, who acts as a liaison between the EIC and the publisher.

The executive responsibilities of EIC are as follows:

  1. Establishing and maintaining the Journal’s purpose, scope, and list of noteworthy topics.
  2. Establishing the Journal’s overarching policies, such as the Journal’s style, kind of material, frequency of publication, length of issue and paper, targeted readership, and expected contributors.
  3. Developing editorial rules and a transparent methodology, as well as procedures for accepting and rejecting submissions.
  4. Recruiting, selecting, and appointing members of the Editorial Board.
  5. Soliciting and collecting paper submissions from potential writers.
  6. Assigning paper refereeing to the proper editor, organizing the peer-review process, and establishing and adhering to deadlines.
  7. Interacting with editors to get evaluations, recommendations, and decisions, among other things.
  8. Interacting with authors for manuscript reception, paper changes, editorial feedback, and so forth.
  9. Making final judgments on paper selection based on reviewer reviews, suggestions, and/or votes.
  10. Accepting completed manuscripts for each issue and forwarding them to the Production Editor in a timely manner for publishing.
  11. Soliciting and communicating with Guest Editors for Special Issues on a particular theme or at major conferences.
  12. Establishing and following all publishing schedules that contain a minimum number of issues per year.
  13. Responding to any mail from writers, editors, reviewers, and readers and forwarded communications as needed.
  14. Creating or delegating editorials, articles, status reports, and other materials as needed.
