Many schools especially in rural areas lack resources and infrastructure to provide comprehensive environmental education. Environmental education is being taught theoretically which reduces its application in real life. To increase the impact of green education in sustainable development this study emphasizes the need to address these issues. It means experiential learning, critical thinking and student involvement in environmental problem solving are part of green education. It also urges for more collaboration between public and private sector to provide a strong foundation for environmental education.
