Abstract

The entire world is under an economic recession, and India has also stepped into it. The devastating virus spread made out country standstill. Due to long-lasted lockdown and other restrictions, people had to confine themselves in their own houses, and all the economic activities had stopped, which resulted in a nationwide economic recession and job loss. In this paper, the author has exhibited both negative and positive impacts of the recent pandemic with the help of secondary data. The paper aims to depict the present economic scenario of India aimed and post-pandemic period.
